Frequently asked questions

What if I cant make it?

Whilst we understand that things happen that may mean you can no longer make your booked workshop, no refunds can be offered. This is because materials will have been purchased ahead of each workshop. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Can I only buy online through the marketplace?

Some items are available within the Creative Corner studio. For items bought during a workshop, you will receive a 10% discount.

Can I book a more than one space?

Yes of course! When you add the workshop to basket, it will show how many spaces are available. To keep the workshop feeling calm and spacious, numbers are limited to 6 people per session.

Do you do private parties?

Yes! If you would like to arrange a workshop just for your group, get in touch and we will be happy to help.

How can I contact you?

You can reach us by using the contact form on the contact page or by email: creativecornerliverpool@gmail.com

Can I leave my children or do I have to stay?

You are welcome to stay but seated space will be limited. There are many cafes close by if you would like to stay close by. I (Leanne) am DBS checked and hold public liability insurance. If you would like to discuss this before booking, get in touch through the contact page.

I/ my child have additional needs. Can I/they join in?

Absolutely. Sessions are deliberately kept small so that we can create a calm and safe environment. You are welcome to participate as little or as much as is possible- it is a low pressure setting. We are just glad to have you there!

Do you do one to one sessions?

This can be accomodated as requested. Whether it is just preference or due to anxiety, we will aim to create a time and space that suits you.

I am an artist/facilitator. Could I run a workshop?

Unfortunately as the it is a shared working space, we are limited to the workshops we can offer. Do get in touch though as we can always try and connect you up with other workshop venues.

My children are home educated. Do you provide "reports"?

No. We don't provide reports. We can offer a verbal overview of the activity provided, along with what your child engaged in, and you can incorporate any learning from this into your local authority responses/personal record.

My child is out of school due to EBSA/anxiety/health problems/neurodivergence difficulties. Can they attend?

Our door is open and you are more than welcome to attend. Parent(s)/Guardian(s) are responsible for maintaining any agreed plan with schools/local authority/health care provider when attending sessions within a "school day". We know this will look different for every family and if you have any questions or want to discuss how we can best support you during workshops, do get in touch.

Are you qualified to work with people with additional needs?

I (Leanne) work as a Psychotherapist, specialising in working with adults and young people who are neurodivergent or have chronic health conditions. Prior to this I worked in Education and Community Arts and have extensive experience in working with a variety of needs. I also have personal experience, particularly of ASD & ADHD. It is important to me that workshop sessions are as accessible as can be and I will endeavour to help wherever I can.
